Iran ready for all prisoner swap with America

Iran’s government spokesman, while confirming ongoing talks for a prisoner swap between Iran and the United States, expressed Iran’s readiness to exchange all prisoners.

“We have said repeatedly that for humanitarian reasons, Iran is ready to exchange all (US) political prisoners for all Iranian prisoners,” Ali Rabi, a spokesman for Iran’s cabinet, said.
Rabi stressed that Tehran hopes to release all Iranian citizens imprisoned around the world. Tehran treats Iranians imprisoned in third countries as prisoners of the United States at Washington’s request.
