Uttarakhand / Champawat : Four youths arrested with 16 grams smack

In the campaign against drugs, Lohaghat police has arrested four youths with 16.15 grams of smack. A case has been registered against all the accused under NDPS Act and sent to jail. The price of Smack is being told around Rs 50,000. In-charge SO Devendra Mehta said that on Tuesday late evening, four youths in two bikes were searched near Balai bridge under the checking operation. During this, 6 villages from the possession of Karam Singh (32) resident of Pachpeda police station Nanakmatta, 6.10 grams from the possession of Kuljeet Singh (32) resident of Jhankat police station Nanakmatta, Jeevan Singh Bisht (19) resident of village Daisli police station Lohaghat two villages while 2.05 grams of smack was recovered from the possession of Mayank Chaturvedi (19), resident of Meena Bazar police station. A case has been registered against the accused and both the bikes have been seized. The police team included in-charge SO Devendra Mehta, SI Devendra Manral, Rakesh Ronkli, Manoj Berry, Sunil Kumar, Deepak Negi, Anil Bhatt.
