Uttar Pradesh : Nadda will address the UP BJP executive meeting

Political roadmap ready for assembly elections

The Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a meeting of the state executive on Friday to prepare a political roadmap for the upcoming assembly elections early next year. The inaugural session of the meeting was addressed by BJP National President J.P. Nadda will address virtually.

State BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh said that on July 15, a meeting would be held with the national leaders of the party, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, organizational leaders of the state and the president of the front wing to finalize the agenda.

The meeting is taking place soon after the BJP won a thumping victory in the three-tier panchayat elections, which saw violence in two phases.

The panchayat results have strengthened BJP’s presence in rural areas and for the party it is a major booster for the assembly elections.

This meeting is taking place at a time when seven MPs of the state have been included in the Union Cabinet keeping an eye on caste and regional balance as a result of reshuffle in the Narendra Modi cabinet a few days ago.

Party sources said the state executive will also approve several programs to mobilize party workers for the upcoming elections.
