Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl will become a sequel, work on the project

If reports are to be believed, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl is all set to become a sequel. The film was released in 2019 in which veteran actress Nushrat Bharucha was seen opposite Ayushmann. The film got a lot of love from the audience.

According to the report, to capitalize on the success of Ayushmann’s superhit film Dream Girl, the makers will make a sequel to it. A source said, “The film Dream Girl did well not only in cinemas but also on television. This shows that the audience has liked it very much and it is being watched again and again. It shows the love of the audience towards the film. So, making a sequel of the film is justified.

The source further added that director Raaj Shaandilyaa has been working on finalizing the script for the film’s sequel for some time now. It is being told that he is also working on the script of another film. If sources are to be believed, things are not very clear about which film will start shooting first in these two films. It is expected that detailed information in this regard will come out in a month.

The original film’s artist Ayushmann can be seen in the sequel of this film. A source said, “Yes, of course it is the original choice. However, he is yet to hear the script of the sequel. Trade experts believe that the makers have not started any formalities regarding the sequel of the film. He says that in the event of an epidemic, we will have to wait until an official announcement is made.
Dream Girl is a romance comedy film, which also starred Manjot Singh and Annu Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Shaandilyaa. The responsibility of writing the film was also on his shoulder. The film was produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film did tremendous business at the box office and made a profit of Rs 142.26 crore to the makers. The film also got 7 out of 10 ratings on IMDb.
