Exports rose 48.34 percent to $32.50 billion in June
Indian exports grew by 48.34 percent to $32.50 billion in June 2021 due to increased demand in the international market and industrial activities in the domestic market.
In the data released by the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the total exports in June 2020 stood at $ 21.95 billion.
According to the data, the total exports in the current financial year so far have been $ 95.39 billion. The figure was $51.32 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. There has been an increase of 85.88 percent in this.
Total imports in June 2021 increased by 98.25 percent to $ 41.87 billion. The total imports in June 2020 stood at $21.11 billion. Total imports grew by 108.72 percent to $126.15 billion in the April-June 2021 period. This figure was $ 60.44 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
According to the data, the trade deficit in June 2021 has been an additional surplus of $ 9.37 billion.
