Hindi remake of Suriya’s Tamil film Soorarai Pottru to be made, makers announced

He wrote in his Twitter post, “Soorarai Pottru, one of the best Indian film in recent years, to be remade in Hindi.” The original film’s director Sudha Kongara will direct its Hindi remake. At the same time, Suriya and Vikram Malhotra have come together to produce this film. At present, no information has been revealed about the cast of the film.
Bollywood’s veteran actor Paresh Rawal was seen in an important role in Soorarai Pottru. The Hindi remake will be produced under the banner of production house 2D Entertainment and Abudantia Entertainment. Suriya said, the appreciation and love that the film Soorarai Potru got is unbelievable. The moment I heard the story of the film, I thought that this film should be made at the Pan India level. The dubbed version of the film is already available in Hindi under the name Udaan. Soorarai Pottru stars Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles besides Suriya and Paresh. The film is the story of a poor man who wants to start his own airline company. A boy from a poor family puts everything at stake to fulfill his dream. Paresh plays the character of a businessman who creates hurdles in Suriya’s path.
