Haryana / Gurugram : Major accident in Gurugram’s Khawaspur village, building collapses; about half a dozen people buried
There was panic due to a major accident in Khawaspur village of Farrukhnagar, Gurugram. A three-storey building collapsed in Khawaspur village. About half a dozen people are being reported trapped in the building. At present the rescue operation is going on. On the spot, the team of fire brigade and NDRF is engaged in the rescue work.

On the other hand, in Maharashtra too there have been accidents in many places due to rain. In Mumbai, 25 people died in house collapse incidents due to heavy rains and landslides. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased.
In fact, 25 people have died in incidents of house collapse in Mayanagari after heavy rain all night. At the same time, suburban train services and road traffic were affected due to severe water-logging in the metropolis on Sunday. CM Thackeray has directed to ensure better coordination between NDRF, municipal personnel, fire brigade and policemen for rescue operations. Here the Meteorological Department has still predicted heavy rains.
