Uttar Pradesh / Sambhal : 7 killed in road accident on Agra-Chandausi highway

Seven people were killed and eight others were injured when two buses collided on the Agra-Chandausi highway in the early hours of Monday. The accident happened near Laharwan village when a bus carrying a wedding party parked on the roadside due to puncture of its tire and hit it with another bus.
The superintendent of police, said, has been identified as Veerpal, 60, Happy, 35, Chhote, 40, Rakesh, 30, Abhay, 18, Vineet, 30 and Bhure, 25.
They were returning from a wedding when an accident happened.
The SP said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital, while the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident and directed officials to ensure all possible relief to the victims.
