Sidhu’s invitation to ‘Captain’! Will both the leaders be seen together in the party’s program amid the altercation? speculation intensified

The tussle between ‘Captain’ and Sidhu in Punjab Congress is not over yet. But now the speculation has also intensified that soon Navjot Singh Sidhu and Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh may be seen together in a party program. In fact, on Friday, Navjot Singh Sidhu will formally take over the chair of Punjab Congress President in a program. It is being said that Navjot Singh Sidhu may send an invitation to Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to attend the event. In some media reports, sources are being quoted as saying that not only Navjot Singh Sidhu but also the four working presidents of the recently appointed Punjab Congress may invite the ‘Captain’ to attend the event.

It is being said that the invitation letter for the Chief Minister has been drafted. Apart from Sidhu’s signature on this invitation letter, there are also the signatures of many other leaders. Apart from this, Punjab Congress President Sunil Jhakar is also signed on this letter. This letter, signed by several leaders, will soon be sent to the Chief Minister of the state, Captain Amarinder Singh.

Let us tell you here that earlier on Tuesday evening Raveen Thukral, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab had rubbished all the reports that Navjot Singh Sidhu had sought an appointment with the Chief Minister. Raveen Thukral had said through a tweet that there has been no change in CM’s stand. Till Sidhu does not publicly apologize for his words about the CM, there will be no meeting with him.

After being made the President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, Navjot Singh Sidhu demonstrated power in Amritsar on Wednesday. Along with 62 out of 83 Congress MLAs, he bowed his head at Sri Darbar Sahib. Former Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar was also present with him. After bowing down to Shri Darbar Sahib, he also reached Jallianwala Bagh and Shri Durgiana Temple and bowed his head. This entire exercise is a ‘power show’ of the new Punjab Congress President Sidhu. This indicates the strengthening of Sidhu in the Punjab Congress and the weakening of the CM Captain Amarinder Singh camp.
