Himachal Pradesh / Rajgarh : Meritorious students of three schools will get stipend from Kamanaram Trust
Scholarship will be given to all round best student of plus two of three schools from Pazhota Freedom Fighter Kamanaram Trust Habban. This information was given by the chairman of the trust, Jai Prakash Chauhan, during a special conversation on Wednesday. Chouhan informed that during the year 1994, an amount of one lakh rupees was provided by former Union Minister Rajesh Pilot during his stay in Habban for the formation of Pazhota Freedom Fighter Kamnaram Trust. They say that for the last 18 years, the operation of this trust has been run by them well and as per the instructions of the former Union Minister, the bank interest of this amount has been spent on the activities of the trust. During the year 2018, the interest received from the deposit amount of the trust was also spent on the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Pazhota movement.
Jaiprakash Chouhan said that with his growing age, it is difficult to operate this trust in future, due to which he deposited one lakh 20 thousand of the trust and distributed Rs. 40 thousand per school to three senior secondary schools Bhadholi, Taproli and Chambidhar. Is. The concerned schools have been requested to give the bank interest from this amount as a stipend to the best student of the two deposited in the school. The President says that the younger generation has no inclination towards this and until the history of Pajhota movement is not included in the school curriculum, then the coming generation will not have any information about this movement. He told that a hand written history has been published by Vaidya Surat Singh, the hero of Pajhota movement, of which two copies have been made available free of cost to all the schools of Rajgarh area so that the younger generation can get the feeling of patriotism from the history of this movement. The feeling can be awakened.
