‘I swear I am single’ : Meezaan Jaffrey

Javedi Jaffrey’s son Meezaan Jaffrey is making a lot of headlines these days for two reasons. While he is going to be seen in the film ‘Hungama 2’ with Shilpa Shetty, the news of his dating with Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda is also in the news. Meezaan has now broken the silence about his relationship with Navya in an interview. He ‘swore to his own head’ that he was single and not dating anyone right now.

Meezaan said, ‘I swear on my head, I am single. I have said this many times before that these are all just rumours. Now I want to put an end to such things, so I am saying it again for the last time, there has been a lot of uproar over this. So I will stay away from this issue for now.

He said, ‘This is unfair to Navya. I think it is wrong to talk like this about anyone who is not a part of this industry. There is nothing like this between me and Navya. Nor is there any ‘weird’ thing between me and Navya. We have a good relationship and I don’t want to say anything more on this.

Meezaan Jaffrey made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with the film ‘Malaal’. The film was directed by Mangesh Hadwale. While the story of the film was co-written by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sanjeev and Mangesh Hadwale. The film was also co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sharmin Sehgal was opposite Meezaan in the film.

Hungama 2 is Meezaan’s second film. While Priyadarshan is directing this film, Meezaan’s opposite Pranitha Subhash is in it. With this film, Shilpa Shetty is also making a comeback in films. ‘Hungama 2’ is a sequel to ‘Hungama’ released in the year 2003. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Ashutosh Rana in lead roles. The film also recreated the song ‘Chura Ke Dil Mera’ from the 1994 release ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’. The video of the song has been released and Shilpa Shetty’s performances are once again making the fans crazy. The film released on OTT on 23 July.
