Uttarakhand / Dehradun : DM did the motorway of on-site inspection of the ongoing construction works from Survey Chowk to Chuna Bhatta, Raipur Road

During his on-site inspection, District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar expressed dissatisfaction over the condition of the motorway from Survey Chowk to Chuna Bhatta Raipur today and the LP has been informed about the problems being faced by the people due to the construction of drainage system from Survey Chowk to 750 meters. Looked closely. Expressing displeasure over the materials kept on the roads, open potholes and checked drains at various places, he directed to work in a systematic manner as well as to put up warning boards. He said that do not create accident zones by digging the roads at different places, but complete the works in a planned manner at an accelerated pace so that the public does not have to face any kind of problem in traffic. During the inspection, the District Magistrate directed the engineers of LP, who are running along with the construction of the drainage system, to immediately lay the piles of debris on the road and also to complete the drainage work along the road in the next 15 days. Expressing displeasure over the working of PWD, he directed to complete the drainage work from primary by mobilizing necessary resources. He directed to establish coordination with the concerned department for cleaning the drains, filling the pit as well as removing the materials kept on the road. During the inspection, potholes have been formed at many places due to the drainage system, due to which accidental accidents are possible, in view of this, he directed to complete the work of filling the pit immediately. During this, in addition to the drainage system at one place, the District Magistrate gave instructions to the Engineer of Jal Sansthan through telephone to immediately connect the pipes kept for the drinking water line. The District Magistrate directed the concerned departmental officers to immediately resolve the problem of waterlogging on the road due to the drains being chowk on Raipur road ahead of Ordnance Factory Institute. During the inspection, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar, Executive Engineer Lonvi Shri Nautiyal, Executive Engineer PWD Rishikesh Vipul Saini, Tehsildar Sadar Dayaram along with officers of the concerned departments were present.
