Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide and ED officials also targeted Pegasus

The layers of the Pegasus espionage scandal are getting uncovered day by day. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s aide and Enforcement Directorate officials were also the target of Pegasus spyware. The Wire has revealed these names in the latest report on this ‘spying’ scam. Two phone numbers of senior Enforcement Directorate officer Rajeshwar Singh and the numbers of three women in his family were found on a database accessed by French non-profit Forbidden. Which he has shared with The Wire, Washington Post and other media organizations.

Along with this, former Indian Administrative Service officer VK Jain, who worked as a personal assistant to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, was also on the target of Pegasus. Along with this, the numbers of at least one officer each working in the PMO and NITI Aayog have also been found in the leaked records.

It is worth noting that allegations are being made that people were spied around the world through Pegasus spyware. Many media organizations around the world including The Guardian, Washington Post, The Wire have disclosed about Pegasus spyware.
