The accused husband, who escaped after killing his wife, has been arrested by the police. On the behest of the accused, the chapad used in the murder has also been recovered by the police. On July 24, a woman living in a colony of police station Sidkul was stabbed to death with a sharp-edged murder. Women originally from U.P. K was a resident of Lakhimpur Kheri district. The woman’s brother had filed a case against her husband Rajesh Kumar, alleging murder. Giving information to the journalists at police station Sidkul, SP City Kamlesh Upadhyay said that after registering the case, the police team engaged in search of accused husband Rajesh took him to Lakhimpuri U.P. Arrested from village Tanaja Kothia police station Phulbehad. During interrogation, the accused told that he was having a dispute with his wife. 4 months ago wife princess had come to Haridwar with children. When he came to Haridwar looking for his wife, he refused to keep her with him. On the day of the incident also he had a fight with his wife. In which he killed her by slapping her on the throat with a chapad kept hidden with her and escaped and went straight to her village. SP City said that on the behest of the accused, the chapad used in the murder, which was kept hidden in the bushes, was also recovered. During this ASP Dr. Visakha Ashok Bhadane was also present. Police team in-charge LS Butola, CIU in-charge SI Ranjit Singh, SI Pradeep Rawat, SI Sohan Rawat, Constable Prem Singh, Brajesh, Narendra Rana, Kumpal Singh, Umesh, Manoj were included in the police team.
