Petrol-diesel became cheaper again

Domestic petrol and diesel prices were reduced by 15 paise per liter on Tuesday, despite a rise in oil prices in the international market on Monday. Earlier on Sunday, petrol became cheaper by 20 paise per liter after 35 days. Similarly, the price of diesel was also reduced by 20 paise per litre.
Today, petrol at Indian Oil’s pump in Delhi has gone up to Rs 101.49 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.92 per liter today. According to oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, on Tuesday, petrol in Delhi was cheaper by 15 paise at Rs 101.49 per liter and diesel by 15 paise to Rs 88.92 per liter.
Internationally, crude oil prices rose again yesterday, despite a resurgence in the number of COVID-19 cases across the globe. Brent crude was up $3.39 a barrel at $68.57 a barrel at the close of trading yesterday and WTI crude was also up $3.28 a barrel to close at $65.46.
Petrol and diesel prices are reviewed daily and based on that new prices are implemented every day from 6 am.
