Uttarakhand : The Chief Minister took the blessings of the saints by unveiling the statue of Brahmalin Veetrag Saint Shiromani Swami Vamdev Maharaj at Aastha Path, Haridwar
Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday unveiled the statue of Brahmalin Veetrag Sant Shiromani Swami Vamdev Ji Maharaj at Aastha Path, Haridwar and took the blessings of the saints. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced that this Vatika located on Aastha Path would be known as Saint Shiromani Swami Vamdev and the work of maintenance of this Vatika would be done by the Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in his address said that Brahmalin Beetrag Sant Shiromani Swami Vamdev Ji Maharaj was the pillar saint of Ram Mandir movement. He was endowed with extraordinary talent. He dedicated his whole life for cow protection and Ram Mandir. The Chief Minister said that apart from making Uttarakhand the spiritual capital, we also want to make Uttarakhand a strong and financially strong state. He said that due to Kovid-19, we had to make the Kanwar Yatra symbolic, in which everyone’s cooperation was received. He said that by the month of December, complete vaccination would be done in the entire state. 100% vaccination has been done in Bageshwar and Rudraprayag districts and up to 95 percent vaccination has been done in some districts. He said that we are getting enough vaccine from the Centre.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all the announcements that are being made will be fulfilled. The announcements are being made only after consultation with the Finance Department. He said that whatever work we will lay the foundation stone for, we will also inaugurate it. He said that Uttarakhand would be made a leading state in many fields in the next 10 years.
Swami Anant Giri Maharaj said that Swami Vamdev Ji always followed Sanatani traditions. Mahant Ravindrapuri, Secretary, Mahanirvani Akhara said that due to the tireless efforts of all, the statue of Swami Vamdev was unveiled on the banks of Maa Ganga today, for which everyone deserves congratulations.
