Sugar softens, jaggery, sago strong

The weekend was questioned in the Siyaganj grocery market. Due to high quota, sugar was sold openly and cheaply. Jaggery, Copra Gola, Copra Burra and Turmeric improved. The uptake was reported in sago.
Sugars in the local grocery market came down after a strong opening. It was told that due to excess sugar quota, the prices have come down. On Monday, Rs 3670 to 3780 was quoted on Saturday, opening Rs 3680 to Rs 3800 per quintal on Monday. The daily arrival of sugar was from 07 to 08 trains. In jaggery, the prices were said to be strengthened by the consumer.
After opening at the level of Rs 195 to Rs 210 per kg, copra shells were sold from Rs 193 to Rs 213. Turmeric prices ranged from Rs 110 to Rs 160. Buying improved in Copra Bura, in which trading was done at a price of Rs 2500 to 3500 per 15 kg. Sabudana sold expensive.
