Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan questioned in cruise drugs party case

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan Khan is one of the eight people questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB last night after raiding a party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. This has been confirmed by the agency in one of its statements. Of the eight people, two are women, who have been questioned.

These eight people are – Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohk Jaiswal, Vikrant Chhokar, Gomit Chopra, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant.

“All the eight, including Aryan Khan, are being questioned. Further action will be taken based on their statement,” the agency said. Sources said that the NCB team had boarded the ship disguised as passengers.

The agency said drugs such as ecstasy, cocaine, MD (mephedrone) and charas were recovered from the party aboard the ship.

“During the operation, all the suspects were searched as per information, various drugs like MDMA/Ecstasy, Cocaine, MD (Mephedrone) and Charas have been recovered. A total of 8 persons including two women were taken into custody,” the agency said. and his role in relation to recovery is being probed.”

He said those detained would be brought back to Mumbai on Sunday. According to him, the party started after the ship left Mumbai and was at sea.

“Their statements are being recorded. Based on the facts, an arrest will be made and the accused will be produced in an NDPS court,” a senior NCB official told NDTV.

Asked if there was any celebrity present in the party, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said, “I can’t comment on it.”

It is noteworthy that NCB in Mumbai has been actively working on drug cases since last year. In a major case, a chargesheet has been filed on an alleged “drugs syndicate”, which names 33 people, including actress Rhea Chakraborty, related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had also seized around 3,000 kg of heroin at the Mundra port in Gujarat earlier last month, and around 37 kg of narcotics along with cocaine in Delhi and Noida, adjoining Delhi.
