Actress Jacqueline Fernandez stopped from leaving the country at Mumbai airport

Jacqueline Fernandez has been stopped at Mumbai Airport while going out of the country. Jacqueline Fernandez’s name is also included in ED’s chargesheet in Rs 200 crore recovery case. According to ED sources, Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the mastermind of the recovery case, gave Jacqueline expensive gifts worth Rs 10 crore. This includes luxury carts, horses and other expensive items. Significantly, in the case of recovery of Rs 200 crore from Tihar Jail in Delhi, the ED had filed a chargesheet on Saturday itself.

The 36-year-old actress was stopped at the airport by custom officials on the basis of the ED’s lookout circular. Investigating agency officials arrived at the Mumbai airport and denied her travel permission and Jacqueline Fernandez has been asked to remain in the country as she may have to join the investigation. It is being said that Jacqueline was going to either Dubai or Muscat. She left the airport at around 6 pm after she was stopped.

In this case, the ED had filed charge sheets under money laundering. ED sources say, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi are also mentioned in the chargesheet. The statements of these actresses have also been included in the chargesheet. ED sources say that Sukesh Chandrashekhar and Jacqueline started talking to each other from January 2021.

According to sources, Sukesh had sent expensive gifts worth more than Rs 10 crore to Jacqueline Fernandez. The expensive gift includes jewellery, diamond jewelery set, crockery, 4 Persian cats (about Rs 9 lakh for a cat) and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh. Sukesh had also sent a hefty amount to Jacqueline’s siblings.

The ED had also questioned Jacqueline’s close friends and staff personnel. Nora Fatehi was gifted a BMW car and an iPhone by Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Its total cost was more than one crore rupees. This has been revealed in the ED chargesheet filed under the hawala case for recovery of 200 crores from Tihar Jail.

When Sukesh Chandrashekhar was in Tihar Jail, he used to talk to Bollywood actress Jacqueline on mobile from there. Sukesh had booked a chartered flight to Chennai after coming out on bail. He had also booked a chartered flight from Mumbai to Delhi for Jacqueline. Sukesh and Jacqueline also stayed in a hotel in Chennai. Sukesh had spent about eight crore rupees for air travel in a private plane when he was out of jail on bail.
