More players can join the Indian team to help with practice
Only a few days are left for the start of the ICC T20 World Cup. Meanwhile, the Indian selectors are looking to bring in Harshal Patel, Venkatesh Iyer and Shivam Mavi to help the team in the practice.
It is understood that if not all three, then two of these players can be asked to stay in Dubai, where the Indian players are currently in quarantine. It is also reported that after the Eliminator match of IPL yesterday, instructions have been issued to the above players in this regard, so that the players do not leave the bio-bubble.
It is noteworthy that BCCI has time till October 16 to make changes in the T20 World Cup squad. It is understood that all teams can make changes seven days before the start of the Super 12 stage. October 10 was the last deadline for changes for the teams playing in the qualification stage. On the other hand, due to the absence of Hardik Pandya, there were also reports that if Hardik is not fit to bowl, then Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar will be his substitutes.
