Showing restraint after attack is not strength: Manish Tewari
On Mumbai attack, Manish Tewari said that showing restraint is not a sign of strength for a nation which has no problem in killing hundreds of innocent people. He is seen as a weakness. Sometimes there comes a time when action should be given more attention than words. 26/11 was such a time when it should have been done. That’s why according to me a strong action should have been taken after 9/11 of India.

Doklam controversy could have been avoided- Manish Tewari
Manish Tewari said that in July 2018, the Defense and Finance Minister of the Modi government canceled the plan to build Mountain Strike Corps against China due to financial constraints. Doklam happened due to increasing tension on LAC, but it could have been stopped only in 2017. If mountain strike corps were created, they would have been trained and if used properly. The cancellation of the Mountain Strike Corps was a big mistake on the national security of this government.
