India and Pakistan are arch-rivals teams on the cricket field but both the countries have not been able to play bilateral series against each other since 2013 due to the ever-increasing tension in mutual political relations. In the last 8 years, these two teams are seen clashing against each other only in ICC tournaments.
Meanwhile, Dubai Cricket Council chairman Abdul Rahman Falaknaz had recently offered to host the series of both the countries here. Welcoming the offer, Aamir said, ‘It is a good offer and we should thank them. But unless the governments of both the countries sit and discuss their problems, the third party cannot do anything.
According to a release issued by Abu Dhabi T10, Amir said, ‘It also depends on the cricket boards of both the countries and what they think about it. If all the sides agree and if the bilateral series is held in Dubai then it will be great for the game.
On this occasion, 29-year-old Mohammad Amir was asked whether he was thinking of ending his retirement and returning to international cricket for Pakistan again. In response to this, he said that at the moment all his focus is on the ongoing T10 league in UAE and apart from this he wants to play in some other leagues of the world as well.
He said, ‘Earlier I was in touch with Wasim Khan but now there is a new management of PCB and I am not in touch with anyone at the moment, so if I say that I want to finish retirement and return to Pakistan team again. And if the PCB has not made any plans for me, then it does not make any sense.
