Hurricane caused havoc in Kentucky, America, 50 people feared dead

In the US, the storm has caused huge destruction in many areas including Mayfield of Kentucky (Hurricanes in Kentucky, USA). About 50 people are feared dead due to the storm. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has declared a state of emergency. He told that rescue teams are present in the area and relief and rescue work is going on. A candle factory in the Mayfield area has been badly damaged by the storm.

It is being told that when the storm hit the factory, at that time more than 100 people were working in it. Rescue operation is going on here. In Tennessee, two deaths were reported from the storm in Lake County, in the state’s northwest region, while one person was reported in neighboring Obian County, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency spokesman Dean Fleiner said. Fleiner said the Tennessee Department of Health had confirmed the deaths, although no further details were immediately released. The official previously reported two deaths in Obion County.

20 people are trapped here

Craighead County Judge Marvin Day told CAT-TV that at least five other people were injured and 20 trapped after a tornado hit the Monet Manor area in northern Arkansas. The TV channel reported that disaster rescuers from Truman and police and firefighters from Jonesboro arrived in the area to help. There are about 90 beds in the nursing home.

Footage from TV channels in St. Louis showed several emergency vehicles at the Amazon center near Edwardsville, Illinois. It’s not clear how many people were injured, but the Collinsville, Illinois Emergency Management Agency called it a “massive casualty” on Facebook. An official told KTVI-TV that more than 100 people working in night shifts are feared to be inside the building when it collapsed.
