Uttar Pradesh : Yogi government’s gift to state employees, order issued to increase DA by three percent

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday gave the green signal for a three percent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) of the state employees. This information was given by tweeting on behalf of the Chief Minister’s Office.

The increased DA will be payable from July 2021. On behalf of the Finance Department, a proposal to increase the DA of state employees from 28 to 31 percent was sent to the Chief Minister last week for approval.

It was approved on Wednesday. The DA from July to November will be deposited in the GPF of the employees, while the DA for December will be paid in cash along with the salary on January 1.

This decision of the government will benefit more than 26 lakh state employees and pensioners of the state.
