Pakistan had called a meeting of Islamic countries, only 20 out of 57 reached; India gave a blow

Pakistan had called a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Sunday and leaders of a total of 57 Muslim countries were invited to it. But only leaders of 20 countries attended this meeting. Apart from this, some other countries sent their ambassadors only. Imran Khan is surrounded in Pakistan because of this and questions are being raised on his foreign policy. In fact, on December 19, India had also called a meeting of 5 countries regarding Afghanistan. Foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkimenistan and Kyrgyzstan attended the meeting. All these 5 Islamic countries share borders with Afghanistan and their role is being considered important to control the situation arising in the troubled country.
Leaders of 5 Islamic countries who were present in India on the same day
Even though separate meetings were being held in Islamabad and Delhi on Sunday, foreign policy experts believe that this strategy of India has dealt a blow to Pakistan. In fact, Pakistan has been trying to establish the leadership of Islamic countries along with Turkey and Malaysia for the past several years. But the arrival of leaders of only 20 countries was a setback for him. Not only this, the leaders of 5 out of those 57 countries were present in Delhi itself. The coming of leaders of Islamic countries to Delhi instead of Islamabad is being considered a setback for Pakistan.
Help sought from Islamic countries on Kashmir, but again a setback
In the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, it has been agreed to create a trust fund to provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. Not only this, Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan once again linked the issue of Kashmir with Islam and appealed to the member countries for solidarity. However, no statement was issued from any other country on this too. Addressing the meeting, Imran Khan said, “The people of Palestine and Kashmir want a solidarity response from the Islamic world.” The Pak PM said that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation should unite to tell the world about the teachings of Islam.
Imran Khan is being targeted in Pakistani media
Pakistan’s famous journalist Qamar Cheema has targeted the Imran Khan government for the arrival of low countries in the OIC meeting. Cheema said that NSAs of Central Asian countries also visited Delhi last month. After this, India invited the heads of state of these countries for the Republic Day celebrations to be held on 26 January 2022. Now the India-Central Asia Summit has taken place. Overall, India has re-established its deep penetration in Afghanistan. Jaishankar and Ajit Doval’s diplomacy has to be praised. This is Pakistan’s defeat. India foiled the hard work of Imran and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in one stroke.
