Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna Pushpa – The Rise rocked the opening weekend
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Telugu film Pushpa – The Rise has hit the Hindi-speaking audience as well and the film has trended better than many Bollywood films that released this year in the opening weekend. Despite being a strong film like Spiderman – No Way Home, Pushpa has kept her hold at the box office.
Pushpa – The Rise is Allu Arjun’s first film to be released Pan India along with Telugu. Especially, the film has been released for the first time in Hindi. Pushpa is doing exceptionally well in all languages. According to the makers, the Hindi version of the film, released on December 17, took an opening of around 3 crores. After this, the net collection of 4 and 5 crores was done on Saturday and Sunday respectively, in which the film has collected 12 crores in the opening weekend.
Pushpa is a crime action film directed by Sukumar, the story of which is based on the smuggling of sandalwood in the forests of Andhra Pradesh and the confrontation between those who oppose it. The film also features Fahad Faasil along with Allu and Rashmika as part of the main star cast.
Pushpa The Rise’s opening weekend has been better than films like Satyamev Jayate 2, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Mumbai Saga. However, before November this year, due to the closure of cinema halls in Maharashtra, the collections of many films were badly affected. Things have improved a bit after the opening of cinema halls in Maharashtra on October 22 with 50 per cent capacity.
If we talk about the worldwide gross collection of the film, then according to the makers, the film has collected 173 crores in the opening weekend. It includes collections of all languages in India and overseas. The box office collections of Pushpa The Rise have generated tremendous enthusiasm in the business and after Sooryavanshi, the Indian box office is expected to do well once again.
