Uttarakhand / Srinagar : Sensation spread in the area due to the murder of 78 year old woman in Bagad village of Pabou

A case of murder of a 78-year-old woman has come to light in Bagad village of Pabou. It is being told that the woman has been hit on the head with a heavy object. Due to which the elderly woman died. Police has registered a case against unknown in the case. The incident is from Bagad village, 15 km from Pabou of Srinagar Assembly, where 78-year-old Savitri Devi was attacked and killed by someone. There was a stir in the area after this incident. At present, the police has taken the body in possession and sent it to Pauri District Hospital for postmortem.

Pauri SSP Yashwant Singh Chauhan confirmed the incident and said that the woman was hit on the head with a stick. Police is probing the matter. The incident will be disclosed soon. Prima facie the police is proceeding with its investigation considering it as a murder.
