United Kingdom : 1.50 lakh people have died due to coronavirus so far, PM said – there will be a public inquiry to decide the responsibility
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in the UK, 1.50 lakh people have lost their lives. Giving information about this on Saturday, the country’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the epidemic has had a dangerous effect on the country. He appealed to the countrymen to get vaccinated at the earliest and thanked the country’s health services for their help.
A day earlier in the UK, 1.46 lakh new cases were registered due to the Omicron variant, while 313 deaths were also reported. Due to this speed of Corona, 1.5 lakh deaths have been recorded in Britain, almost two years after the epidemic started.
PM Johnson said, ‘My condolences to everyone who has lost any of their family, friends and communities. Our government has set up an independent inquiry so that we can avoid the mistakes made in the past and fix the responsibility of the deaths that happened earlier.
However, when it comes to the countries most affected by Corona in the world, Britain is still at number three. America is at number one in terms of corona cases and deaths. So far, about 6 crore cases of corona and 8.37 lakh deaths have been registered here, while the second number is from India, where 3.55 crore cases of corona and 4.83 lakh deaths have been registered. After this, Russia, Mexico and Peru have the highest number of deaths. Britain (1.44 crore) is at number three in the number of infected and sixth in deaths (1 lakh 50 thousand 537).
