Uttarakhand: New guidelines issued amid the havoc of Corona – Schools, all closed till 22

In view of the increasing corona case in Uttarakhand, new guidelines have been issued in the state.

Night Curfew in the state will be effective from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

  1. During the curfew period, persons, shops, offices associated with the services mentioned in Annexure-I will be allowed to work under the COVID Appropriate Behavior & COVID Safety Protocols.
  2. Market Opening: All business establishments (market) from 06:00 am to 10:00 pm. Will be able to open till noon.
  3. All gyms, shopping malls, cinema halls, spa salons, theatres, auditoriums, meeting halls etc. and all activities related to them will open with 50 percent capacity following the COVID protocol.
  4. The swimming pools/water parks in the state will remain closed till January 22, 2022.
  5. Sports institutes, stadiums and playgrounds located in the state will be opened for training of players with 50 percent capacity. Suitable standard practice method for opening of sports institute stadium and playground with covid protocol issued by the sports department at its level. Will be done.
    According to the 50 percent capacity of the Venue (closed or open space), persons will be allowed to participate in the marriage ceremony and funeral procession. During this, the COVID protocol will be strictly followed.
  6. Political rally/Dharna demonstration will not be allowed till 22nd January, 2022.
  7. Hotels, restaurants, eateries and dhabas will be allowed to operate Dining only at 50 percent capacity and as per the covid protocol, takeaway / home delivery of food items will be encouraged.
  8. Anganwadi centers and all educational institutions up to class 12 in the state will remain closed till January 22, during which classes will continue through online classes.
  9. Conduct of examinations conducted by the Government of India and State Government bodies will be allowed.
