Uttarakhand : The tickets of these leaders in BJP are confirmed, the rest continues.

In view of the candidate selection for the assembly elections, Uttarakhand BJP has finalized the panel of contenders for all the 70 seats. It was approved after discussion in the party’s election committee meeting on Saturday. The list will be submitted to the party’s central leadership in Delhi on Sunday. The Central Parliamentary Board will take a decision regarding the candidates. According to sources, the situation is almost clear on 28 seats. If there is no change, then these names can be announced in the first phase. Apart from this, 25 seats are stuck due to various reasons, which will have to be struggled. It is also being told that the party can use scissors on the tickets of 10 to 15 sitting MLAs.
On Saturday, Union Minister and State Election In-charge Pralhad Joshi, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State President Madan Kaushik, State In-Charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, State General Secretary Organization Ajeya, Former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Vijay Bahuguna, Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath In the meeting of the State Election Committee held in the presence of other leaders including Singh Rawat, the panel of contenders was discussed. Assembly constituency-wise discussion was held in the meeting which lasted for one and a half hours. In some seats, multiple names were added and some were removed.
Sources said that in the seats where the names are almost fixed, there is only one name in the panel. Two to four names are included in other seats. According to sources, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State President Madan Kaushik and State General Secretary Organization Ajey will hand over the list of contenders to the central leadership in Delhi on Sunday. Sources said that a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also possible in this regard on Sunday. A meeting of the party’s Central Parliamentary Board is proposed in Delhi on January 19.
