The wonders of Dhami will work in Uttarakhand! Or will always be an example for Congress?
There is no bigger and experienced face than Harish Rawat in the active politics of Uttarakhand. However, 46-year-old Pushkar Singh Dhami, who became the Chief Minister of the state six months ago, is not only young, but understands the pulse of politics very well. Behind Dhami, Uttarakhand BJP in-charge Dushyant Gautam, assembly election in-charge Prahlad Joshi and Uttarakhand state president have laid a complete backbone. President JP Nadda himself is taking stock of the preparations for the Uttarakhand elections. State President Madan Kaushik and Organization Minister are constantly in touch with the central leaders. BJP is expected to get majority again in the state with the help of Brahmin President and Rajput Chief Minister.
Rawat fraternity dominates 25-30 seats
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad leader Bhan Singh Negi says that then the BJP government will be formed. The party will definitely win the election. Bhan Singh Negi is close to Dhan Singh Rawat, a minister in the state government. However, according to Prakash Negi, who is groping the public in the state, the Rawat fraternity dominates 25-30 seats in the state. Prakash says that BJP changed two Rawat chief ministers. Pushkar Singh Dhami has been given a chance six months in advance in July 2021. Negi says that if seen in this way, at present there is no Rawat leader bigger than Harish Rawat in the politics of Uttarakhand. Harak Singh Rawat’s separation from BJP will also cost the party heavily.
Mahesh Pant, who understands the political situation of Pauri Garhwal and Kumaun, says that Harish Rawat is a very popular, non-controversial leader. But BJP’s appointment of Brahmin as its president and former chief minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s close aide Pushkar Singh Dhami is a good decision in many respects. Mahesh says that BJP has many good leaders in Uttarakhand. While being a Rajya Sabha member, Anil Baluni has contributed a lot in the development of the state. Trivendra Singh Rawat is becoming politically active again. The party is working on a strategy of giving 10 seats to women and seven to Dalits as candidates. Hence there is every possibility of BJP returning to power. Anyway, BJP uses abundant resources for election campaign. However, according to Mahesh, all the BJP leaders are a big challenge in the way of BJP’s victory. He says that many popular leaders of Uttarakhand are clashing with each other. This may harm the party.
Congress fixed its nail thorns
The Congress party has full hope of forming the government in Uttarakhand this time. Two major reasons are being cited for this. Firstly, the Congress has been successful in keeping Harish Rawat, who is considered the face of the Chief Minister, satisfied. Second, the mathematics of elections in Uttarakhand will be decorated under the guidance of a senior leader like Mohan Prakash. Mohan Prakash of socialist background is considered an expert in giving ground to the elections. Having him in charge will help balance the discord and infighting within the party. Mohan Prakash can not only tighten Harish Rawat in one frame but can strike a balance amongst others including Pritam Singh. It is said that Congress can get benefit from this.
