Media persons in uttarakhand will exercise their franchise through postal ballot

On the instructions of the Election Commission, the facility of postal ballot has been made available for the media persons in Dehradun ahead of the Uttarakhand Assembly elections to be held in February this year. This facility will be available to those media persons who have been authorized by the Commission for election coverage. Media persons face difficulties in exercising their voting rights due to coverage.

On the instructions of the Election Commission, the Director General (Information), Dehradun has directed the concerned officers to provide the facility of postal ballot to the media persons authorized by the Election Commission to exercise their voting rights. Voting for the Uttarakhand Assembly elections will be held on 14 February and counting of votes will take place on 10 March.
