Priyanka’s slogan “Ladki hu lad sakti hu” remained useless in Uttarakhand, only 3 women candidates out of 53 in the first list of Congress

After all, after a lot of hard work, the Congress has released its first list for Uttarakhand. For about ten days, the leaders of the state unit had a meeting with the central leadership in Delhi and after that, after the intervention of the Congress high command, the Congress released the list on Saturday night. But the surprising thing is that the Congress, which claims to give tickets to 40 percent women in Uttar Pradesh, has refrained from implementing this formula in Uttarakhand and has given tickets to only 3 women out of 53 seats. At the same time, the party has not given tickets to Anupama Rawat, daughter of Harish Rawat and Anukreethy, daughter-in-law of Harak Singh Rawat. It is being told that both of them can be given tickets in the next list.

Recently, the state president of Congress Mahila Morcha, Sarita Arya left the party and went to BJP and BJP has made her a candidate from Nainital seat. Sarita Arya had accused the Congress of neglecting women and not giving tickets to women. This allegation of Sarita has now proved to be true. The Congress has made a mess by giving tickets to only women leaders. Whereas the Congress party is claiming to give tickets to 40 percent women in Uttar Pradesh.

These women leaders got a place in the first list

In the state, Congress has also given tickets to three women candidates in the first list. Congress has given tickets to Godavari Thapli from Mussoorie, Mamta Rakesh, MLA from Bhagwanpur and Meena Sharma from Rudrapur. While the party has announced candidates for 53 seats in the state. However, Congress leaders say that the party has not yet released the complete list and the party can give tickets to some other women in the remaining 17 seats.
