New electric bike with 180km range launched, know price and features with pictures
Electric vehicle manufacturer Torque Motors has launched a new electric bike Kratos in India. The company has introduced this bike in 2 variants, namely Kratos and Kratos R.
The starting price of this bike is from 1.02 lakhs. Prices are ex-showroom Delhi and there is subsidy attached. Torque Motors has also started booking for these bikes.
However, the delivery will be till April this year. Interested customers can book the motorcycle on the company’s official website by paying just Rs 999.
The motorcycle gets an IP67-rated 4 Kwh lithium-ion battery pack with a system voltage of 48V. It is rated to achieve a top speed of 100 kmph. Its IDC range is 180 km, while the real world range is 120 km.
It gets an axial flux type electric motor, whose maximum power is 7.5 kW and peak torque is 28 Nm. The company claims that in just 4 seconds, this vehicle catches the speed of 0-40 kmph.
At the same time, the higher-spec Kratos R gets a more powerful motor, which generates a maximum power of 9.0 Kw and 38 Nm of peak torque. It has a top speed of 105 kmph as compared to the standard model.
