Uttar Pradesh : 6 policemen suspended for beating students in Prayagraj, case registered against many coaching centers including Khan sir in Patna

Six cops have been suspended for beating up students in Prayagraj regarding railway exam. However, the SSP has expressed apprehension of a political conspiracy regarding this incident. On the other hand, the train was burnt for the second consecutive day yesterday in Bihar regarding the examination. At the same time, the police have registered a case against many coaching centers in Patna including Khan sir for instigating the students.

The 6 police personnel who have been suspended include one inspector, two sub-inspectors and three constables. All of them are accused of using unnecessary force. FIR registered in Colonelganj police station regarding demonstration
Prayagraj SSP Ajay Kumar has told that an FIR has also been registered at Colonelganj police station regarding the students’ protest, in which three people have been made the main accused. Two of them have been arrested, while one is absconding.

On Wednesday, for the third consecutive day, students targeted trains. Several coaches of the train were set ablaze by students in Gaya. Meanwhile, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself has come forward and appealed to the students for peace after the fierce demonstration of students in Bihar for the third consecutive day. Not only this, the Railways has also announced to review the results of RRB NTPC preliminary exam and postpone the mains exam.

Students protested in Bihar and UP against Railway Recruitment Board’s Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB-NTPC) Exam 2021 Result, which spread to other parts. The protesters claimed that only one exam was mentioned in the RRB notification released in 2019. He accused the officials of playing with the future of the students. The matter has gained momentum after the examination results were declared on January 15. At that time the Ministry of Railways had issued a clarification, stating that the second stage examination was clearly mentioned in the notification. The first stage of CBT exam was a common test for all the candidates.
