At the same time, Ravindra Jadeja has also not been able to make a place in the team due to injury.
In the team announced by the BCCI, one name has surprised the most. That name is fast bowler Avesh Khan. The selection committee has included him in both ODI and T20 teams. Apart from these, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Venkatesh Iyer have been discharged from the ODI team. They both played ODI series on South Africa tour. Avesh Khan hopes for debut match this time
Avesh Khan has been selected in the team for some series even before this, but he has not got a chance to debut in any format so far. He was also selected for the final of the ICC World Test Championship, but he was ruled out due to injury in practice. Now it can be expected that he can get a chance to debut, as he has been selected for 6 matches of both the series.
Ravindra Jadeja could not recover from injury
The BCCI told via tweet that Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have been rested from both the series. At the same time, KL Rahul will join the team from the second ODI. Ravindra Jadeja has not yet fully recovered from the knee injury. He is currently in the final stage of recovery, so he was not selected in both the series. Axar Patel has only got a place in the T20 team.
