After being declared the Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate for the Nainital assembly seat, Hem Arya has made a big allegation against the former minister and former MLA. But this time he got ticket from Aam Aadmi Party. He will show the MLA his rightful place. In the 2012 assembly elections, Hem Arya contested from Nainital on a BJP ticket. At that time he lost to Congress candidate Sarita Arya by a margin of about five thousand votes. In 2017 his ticket was cut from BJP. Then BJP gave preference to Sanjeev Arya, who left the Congress. On this Hem Arya contested as an independent, but lost. After the election, Hem joined the Congress. He was in Congress for five years.
But this time too Sanjeev Arya broke the dream of Hem’s ticket by returning to the Congress. Just before the assembly elections, Sanjeev Arya left the BJP and returned to the Congress. In such a situation, seeing that he was not getting a ticket from the Congress, Hem went back to the BJP. He was also considered a strong contender for the ticket. Meanwhile, in a sudden change in political developments, state president of Mahila Congress Sarita Arya joined the BJP. BJP also gave ticket to Sarita Arya instead of Hem. Since then Hem Arya’s voice had become rebellious. Just 26 days after his return to the BJP, Hem Arya left the party again on Friday to protest against not getting the ticket and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Hem Arya, who had filed his nomination after being declared the candidate from the Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday, was accorded a warm welcome by the AAP workers with flower garlands. He said that for the last 22 years, he has been doing social service by staying among many people. In this election, Ballianala treatment of Nainital, AIIMS construction in Bhowali sanatorium, inflation and many other issues will go among the public. He attacked Yashpal Arya and Sanjeev Arya. Said that Sanjeev joined the BJP in the last assembly elections and cut his ticket, now this year he again joined the Congress.
The father and son involved in many scams have always shown their muscle power by running money in the state. Said that this time also Sanjeev Arya has got the ticket on the basis of money and deceit. He said that the people of Nainital city as well as rural areas are with him. This time he will show Sanjeev Arya in his place in the true sense. During this, all the workers including city president Shakir Ali, state spokesperson Pradeep Dumka, Vinod Kumar were present.
