Nawab Kazim Ali Khan alias Naved Mian, one of the richest candidates of Uttar Pradesh has been fielded by Congress from Rampur Sadar assembly seat.

A father-daughter fight is being seen in the Bidhuna seat of UP. While sitting MLA Vinay Shakya joined the SP, his daughter Riya Shakya, 25, has been fielded by the BJP from the same constituency. There is also a war between husband and wife in Sarojini Nagar assembly seat of Lucknow. Both husband and wife are claiming ticket for this seat in BJP. The wife is Swati Singh, a minister in the Yogi Adityanath government and her husband, Daya Shankar Singh, is the vice-president in the state unit of the BJP. Swati Singh is the sitting MLA from Sarojini Nagar and is keen to get a ticket for the second term.
