Kashi Singh Airi, the patron and central president of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, has accused the BJP and Congress of money power politics. According to Airi, the politics of both the BJP and Congress have become centered on alcohol and mining. Kashi Singh Airi also accused both the national parties of looting and duping the public. Attacking both the parties, the UKD President said that the governments of both the parties in the state did nothing for the basic problems, health, education, employment here.
