On this day there is a law to worship Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning and art. Vasantotsav begins with Basant Panchami. This spring festival lasts till Holi. This festival is also celebrated as Madonotsav, according to the scriptures, on the day of Basant Panchami, Brahma ji also created the universe. Therefore, it is considered good to start new works from this day. Especially starting any new education, starting any new work, shaving children, Annaprashan sanskar, home entry or any other auspicious work is considered very good.
