PM Modi targeted the Congress fiercely. Modi said, “On the one hand there is the Bharatiya Janata Party, which formed the state of Uttarakhand under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee immediately after coming to the government, while on the other hand there are those who made every possible conspiracy to stop the creation of Uttarakhand, as many as possible. There could have been obstacles. Those who did not want to see Uttarakhand as a state, would they like to see the development of Uttarakhand? Those who wanted to kill the dreams of Uttarakhand so that their legacy continues, will they stop looting your resources now? Those people will never improve.

The PM said, “There are some people who do not want to do anything good themselves and if someone else does good work, then their stomach starts hurting. This has been the attitude of the Congress party regarding Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand was created against their wishes, so they are taking their anger out of it till today. He did not hesitate to put even the security of the country at stake to push Uttarakhand back. This state is our border state, the villages here are connected with the border of other countries, so development here is necessary not only for the lives of the people here but also for the defense of the country.

Prime Minister Modi also targeted the Congress fiercely regarding the Ganga. He said, “When we came to power, we started the Namami Gange campaign for Maa Ganga. Today Maa Ganga is becoming pure. But do you know what they did when they were in power? He had declared Maa Ganga a canal at Har ki Pauri in Haridwar. Can anyone in the world imagine? One of the most famous rivers of the world should be declared as a canal, so that the mining and looting mafia can play their game. These people are doing the work of dissolving poison in the holy land.”
