State Vice President of Jansatta Dal Loktantrik (Backward Classes) Ghanshyam Singh was shot in Tharwai area of Prayagraj. He has suffered injuries on his arms and legs. The Tharwai police have admitted him to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital. A report has been registered against one named and five unknowns on the complaint of his wife. Behind the incident, the matter of dispute of property and transaction of Rs. The police has also caught the named accused, but right now she is denying it.

Ghanshyam Singh, a resident of Prophetpur (Luckhanpur) village in Tharwai, is the state vice-president of the Backward Classes of Jansatta Dal Loktantrik. He does property dealing. Late on Wednesday night, he was returning home from Garapur market on a bike. He alleges that near Garapur village, Munna Yadav alias Kanchan resident of Mehmadpur Hathigahan police station Nawabganj stopped him. There were four or five other people with him. Munna started abusing during the conversation. Threatened on protesting that you are doing a lot of leadership, no one will come to save you. Let the election pass. Then the government will change and you will not be able to do anything for us. Saying this he put his pistol on his head.
Bowed his head on fire, which saved his life
He bowed his head as soon as he fired, due to which the bullet hit his hand. Leaving the bike, he ran on foot, then he was shot after running, on which a bullet hit his leg as well. Somehow when he reached the nearest petrol pump office, his life was saved due to the employees present there. Ghanshyam also told that he and Munna Yadav do property dealing work. About two years ago, he had given Rs 31 lakh to Munna, but neither got the land nor the money. There was a dispute going on about this. The police have registered a report against five unidentified associates of Ghanshyam, naming Munna Yadav on the complaint of Vaishali’s wife. According to sources, the police have also caught Munna. Police station in-charge Tharvai Yogesh Pratap Singh says that the incident has happened due to the dispute of property and money transaction. The whole matter is being investigated. No one has been caught yet.
