A planet found near the sun on which life is possible

There is such a star near our sun, around which the planet with life is revolving. Scientists have recently discovered this planet. In fact, this planet holds a quarter of the weight of the Earth. It is orbiting near its star. That is, only one tenth of the distance between the Sun and Mercury. At the moment it is an alien world. Because not much is known about it. But if the information increases, then there will be further planning.

Scientists observed this planet with the European Southern Observatory Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile when they saw a bubble in the gravitational force around the star Proxima Centauri. They saw that this bubble was orbiting its star every five days. When examined more closely, it was found that the bubble was nothing but a planet.

Joao Faria, a researcher at the Portugal-based Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences and a member of the team that discovered this planet, said that there is a very interesting world around our neighboring star Proxima Centauri. Who are constantly demanding new studies and research. Scientists said that this planet is orbiting at a distance of only 4 million kilometers from Proxima Centauri.

Joao Faria said that if it is so close to its star, then life is also possible here. The environment here can be worth living. It may also happen that the temperature here is of such a range that water can be easily found. The detailed report of this new discovery has recently been published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics. This new planet has been named Proxima-D.

Proxima-D is the third planet in its solar system. Brightest too. It is near Proxima-B. Proxima-b is equal to Earth in terms of weight. But it makes one round of its star every 11 days. At the same time, Proxima-C makes one revolution around its star in five days.

Information about Proxima-D was first received in the year 2020. At that time scientists were studying about Proxima-b. Only then they could see a change in the gravitational force around Proxima-b and Proxima Centauri. They saw that a bubble-like shape revolved around the planet once every five days.

To investigate this further, scientists took the help of the telescope Espresso of the Europe Space Organization. This telescope has determined that another small planet is revolving around the Proxima Centauri star. Joao told that this is a very low weight planet. Like the moon of our earth. It is the third planet to orbit its star. It may be like our earth. For now, more study is needed about it. On which scientists are engaged.
