Russian army surrounded Ukraine from three sides, heavy tanks and artillery with fighter jets were present

Unfazed by all the pressures of the world, Russia is still preparing for an attack on Ukraine. It has surrounded Ukraine from three sides. Recent satellite images show that Russian forces in Belarus, Crimea and the West Frontier are preparing for an attack with great care. According to an estimate, about one lakh Russian soldiers are present on the western border with Ukraine. The presence of 13,000 Russian troops in Belarus has already come to the fore. Russian troops have also taken the front in Crimea.
Conversation inconclusive
To calm the dispute, US President Joe Biden spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the phone, which was inconclusive. During the talks, Biden appealed to Putin to postpone the war and also warned that if there was a war, Russia would get a befitting reply. At the same time, Russia even called America crazy. Shortly after the talks, the US sent instructions to evacuate its embassy in Ukraine. Security officials said that the talks between the two top leaders about the stability of the situation have not been made.
What is Russia’s dispute with Ukraine?
The eastern part of Ukraine is bordered by Russia. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, most Russian-born people settled in Ukraine. Because of this, mutual coordination between the two countries was better, but in 2014 Viktor Yanukovich, a close aide of Russian President Vladimir Putin, lost power. After the withdrawal of Yanukovich, political tension started in Russia and Ukraine.
Russia then invaded and occupied the Crimean peninsula of Ukraine. Ukraine was given Crimea as a gift in 1954 by the Supreme Leader of the Soviet Union Nikita Khrushchev. After the Russian occupation of Crimea, Ukraine began to increase friendship with the West. The latest controversy started with the news of Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Angered by speculation that Ukraine would join NATO, Russia deployed millions of troops to the border.
