Uttarakhand : Now as Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), ADG Intelligence Sanjay Kumar Gunjyal will serve the country
ADG Intelligence Sanjay Kumar Gunjyal of Uttarakhand has been appointed as Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) for 5 years. The Union Home Ministry has issued an order in this regard on Friday. Sanjay Kumar Gunjyal will soon take over as Inspector General in BSF. Sanjeev Kumar, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has issued an official letter to the Government of Uttarakhand urging that IPS Sanjay Gunjyal should be relieved from the state services and sent to the center for new assignments of BSF services.
Sanjay Gunjyal, posted in the Uttarakhand Police Department, is a 1997 batch IPS officer. He headed the district police in many districts like Dehradun, Haridwar, as well as took over the charge of DIG of Garhwal range. IPS Sanjay Gunjyal was presently taking over the charge of ADG Intelligence Uttarakhand after getting promotion from IG. In such a situation, he has now been appointed as BSF IG by the Ministry of Home Affairs under central deputation for 5 years.
10 IPS officers transferred just before the assembly elections
Just before the assembly elections, ten IPS officers were transferred, in which the name of Sanjay Kumar Gunjyal was also included. Immediately Inspector General of Police Sanjay Gunjyal was made Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence and Security. Whereas Additional Director General of Police CID and PAC Dr. PVK Prasad was made Director Prosecution along with Additional Director General of Police PAC.
The charge of Sanskrit education was withdrawn from Surendra Narayan Pandey
According to the information, the charge of Sanskrit education was withdrawn from IAS Surendra Narayan Pandey, Secretary (in-charge) of the state. While Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram was entrusted with the responsibility of Sanskrit education with the present post. Along with this, among PCS officers, Jai Bharat Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Nazul and Administration) Udham Singh Nagar were transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner Sugarcane, Kashipur. On the other hand, Shiv Kumar Barnwal, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Dehradun was given the additional responsibility of Executive Director Sugar Mills Doiwala. Apart from this, Municipal Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Roorkee, Nupur was transferred to the post of Deputy Collector Tehri. While Joint Magistrate Roorkee and Deputy Fair Officer Kumbh Mela Haridwar, Anshul Singh was also given the responsibility of Municipal Commissioner Roorkee.
