Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Theft of electricity being done by putting cables by theft caught

The team of Electricity Department caught the case of theft of electricity by inserting cables by theft. A case has been registered against the accused under the Electricity Act at Clementtown police station.

Shoaib Ali, in-charge of Clementtown police station, said that Vimal Kuliyal, Under Engineer, Turner Road 33/11 KV station, gave a complaint regarding theft of electricity. Said that he along with the team raided the Gupta store in Subhashnagar. During this, three meters were found on the pole there. Whereas, there were four cables of supply. When I saw a cable was going straight from the pole to the house of Lalit Kumar resident Savarkar Marg. Whose length was about 33 meters. A case has been registered against accused Lalit Kumar Kumar in this regard.
