Uttarakhand / Devprayag : The passenger escaped by throwing the driver into the ditch for fear of paying the fare, the life of the driver of such a cab survived
A person who had booked a car from Delhi threw the driver into a ditch with the intention of not paying the booking money and fled. On receiving the information, the police rescued the driver and admitted him to the hospital. The driver is a resident of Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh. The vehicle was found parked on the spot, due to which it is believed that the accused carried out this incident due to non-payment of car booking money. Police have registered a case and started investigation. Based on the information received from the injured driver, a sketch of the accused is also being made, so that he can be caught. The matter pertains to revenue village Utarasu area of Pauri district, due to which information was also given to Pauri police.
Vikesh, a resident of Sitapur, village Rajnagar police station in Uttar Pradesh, drives a taxi in Noida. On Friday night, someone booked a car from him to go to Pauri Garhwal. These people reached Devprayag on Saturday morning. After reaching Devprayag, the young man stopped the car on the way from Pauri and said that he did not have money and he would give money to him in the village. The driver obeyed him and walked towards his village. On the way, the two got into an argument and the accused threw the driver into the ditch and fled. The driver who fell into the ditch informed the police by dialing the emergency number 112. Devprayag police reached the spot on the information of the driver and pulled him out of the ditch. Driver Vikesh was admitted to the community health center located in rebel in Devprayag in an injured condition. The injured driver informed the Devprayag police about the entire incident.
Police Station Devprayag Sanjay Mishra said that on the basis of the statement of the injured driver, a case has been registered against the unknown person. Based on the information of the injured driver, a sketch of the accused is being made, so that he can be caught. Due to the incident area being of Pauri district, information has been sent to the police there.
