The woman, who arrived with a complaint, has made serious allegations against the home guard of raping her. After the rape, the accused fled from the spot. At the same time, the victim has appealed to the DSP of Gharaunda for justice and immediate action against the accused. After hearing the complaint, the DSP sent the woman to Karnal for medical examination. While the police have started investigation by registering a case against the accused home guard.

It is being told that a person was continuously harassing a woman living in a village under Gharaunda police station area on the phone. She had reached Gharaunda police station on Monday after complaining about this. Outside the police station, she found a young man and claimed to be a police station employee, giving his name as Gulab. The victim told the youth that a person has been harassing her continuously on the phone, whose recording is also with her. The young man asked the woman to accompany him to the room, where he would listen to the recording comfortably. He then took the woman to the quarters.

The victim alleges that as soon as she entered the room, the accused youth locked the door and raped her. After the rape, the accused youth fled from the spot. The victim came to the police station and narrated the incident to the policemen, but due to no female policemen in the police station, she reached the DSP office. The DSP heard the complaint of the woman and ordered the SHO to take action. Taking the matter seriously, the police sent the woman to Kalpana Chawla Medical College and Hospital in Karnal for medical treatment. Police have started investigation by registering a case against the accused.

Station in-charge Deepak Kumar said that the woman has given a complaint accusing the home guard of rape. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused home guard. The accused is absconding. The woman’s medical is being done. The accused will be arrested soon.
