Uttarakhand : There is a fear of EVM tampering, Congressmen built a temporary house near the strong room
Congress is apprehensive about EVM tampering in the state. The party has asked its candidates to continuously monitor the strong rooms for the safety of EVMs till the counting of votes is done. State Congress President Ganesh Godiyal said that this step has been taken after seeing the track record of BJP.
The counting of votes in the state is to be held on March 10. The Congress has been claiming to form the government in the state since the voting on February 14. Along with this, the party has also expressed concern about the security of EVMs. State Congress President Godiyal said that there is enthusiasm in the party due to the feedback received from booth level after polling. Voters have showered a lot of love for the party. It is clearly visible that the fear of defeat is haunting the BJP. Because of this, BJP MLAs, ministers are talking about contraception. This election has been fought more strongly by the people than by the Congress, so that the government which has created potholes in the state does not come to power again.
