Uttar Pradesh : BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi’s son Mayank will ride a ‘cycle’! BJP did not give ticket

In the midst of the ongoing election turmoil in Uttar Pradesh, a big news is coming out. Mayank Joshi, son of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi, may soon join the Samajwadi Party. Mayank Joshi met SP President Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday. Akhilesh Yadav himself shared the picture with Mayank Joshi on Twitter. However, the SP chief called it a courtesy meeting. If reports are to be believed, Mayank Joshi’s cycle ride can be officially stamped on Wednesday.

It is known that BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi had demanded ticket for son Mayank from Lucknow Cantt seat, which was not fulfilled. The party had given ticket to state government minister Brajesh Pathak from this seat. Since then it was discussed that Mayank Joshi would join the Samajwadi Party (SP). Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the fourth phase of voting is also to be held in Lucknow Cantt assembly seat.

Let us tell you that Rita Bahuguna Joshi contested the 2012 assembly elections from Lucknow Cantt on a Congress ticket and in 2017 on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket. He had won both the times. Rita Joshi defeated Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law and SP candidate Aparna Yadav in the 2017 elections. Recently, Aparna had left the SP and joined the BJP.
